Thanks boss for a wonderful Christmas lunch at this really awesome revolving restaurant.

Okay, honestly I’m not too fond of anything that’s not stationary. It takes an hour for it to make 1 full circle, but noticing that the surrounding changes kinda bothers me a little. 2hrs later, I wasn’t really in the “best condition” I could have been. Food isn’t bad, good variety, selection was good, it showcases “Aussie” foods like kangaroo, emu, kangaroo and our chips with salt & vinegar.

The view is amazing though!

The buffet isn’t too bad actually. Lots of food choices. Just have to pick what you like, try everything, then eat more of what you like.

The cold dishes consist of prawns, mussels and cold cut meats. The mussels are good, fresh, properly prepared. The meats are good cold cuts, slap on some dressing. Yum!

Salads and salads and more cold stuff. Nice potato salad, little strong in the dill, but potatoes were well prepared.

Sausages. Australia’s local animals. I’m not as fond of the light colored ones (crocodile) though. A bit too mushy.

Fish. I didn’t get to try this, but my co-worker said it was really good.

Ham. I like the ham. Good ham. The braised beef is decent.

Spring rolls and gyoza. Quite normal, quite edible.

Pasta, I had a little bit of each. I try to avoid carbs at buffets cause they fill you up fast. These are a tiny bit dry, maybe because of heat lamp perhaps?

Calamari and fries. These disappeared really quickly. When I finally got a pic, I was too full.

Love the carrots. Well prepared, nicely caramelised and fried basil leaves go well with it.

The place is great, not good for people with motion sickness. It gets to you after a bit. The food is not too bad! I’ve previously heard a few bad reviews about this place, but I don’t mind it so much actually.

Make reservations ahead of time, and take note of the different prices for different times.
